I bought medium damask recently to paper a bedroom in our victorian house which we are in the process of restoring. The walls and plasterwork are old so it was to bring comfort and texture into this room. We painted the finished job in a chalky creamy off white and the effect is excellent. The fresco paper itself is nice and thick and the decorator enjoyed using it as he found the pattern in every roll was straight and consistent. It holds the paint well and does not bruise or damage easily later, unlike some other fresco papers. Couple of tips: vital to prepare the walls well before papering (eg filling or smoothing out uneven places) as despite the quality of the paper, these will show after papering; this pattern is perfect for a largish room with high ceilings. Might be. Better to use a smaller pattern with more repeats in a smaller room. We are very pleased with this Superfresco range and are going to order further rolls for our remaining rooms!

Good quality, nice design. Experienced at wallpapering but found this paper challenging. Needs lots of glue to keep it on the wall but then tears easily when trimming - even with a sharp blade. Also either stretched or pattern out on 3 rolls by about 4mm, which was tricky to work with. That said looks good on the wall and was worth the effort. Bought over the Christmas period and received in Perth, Australia in 3 days
